About Project.
PUMA’s recently released 698 IGNITE silhouette has been garnering quite a bit of attention of late. Based on the original R698 model, a popular performance shoe in the early ’90s, the reworked sneaker features the brand’s cushioning system technology IGNITE FOAM. An update of PUMA’s Trigenic system, which debuted in 1989, the first R698 sneaker featured the technology when it was launched in 1992.
